Help Fill a BackPack

Thanks to the generosity of the Mission Bend area Homeowner Associations and area businesses, we have had a successful campaign for donations and will be distributing school supplies for Ft. Bend ISD students and Alief ISD students as planned this coming Saturday.

If you have something you are planning to donate, please bring it to the event.

We are very happy to say that the response for Volunteers was very good and we have met the number needed.

In addition to distributing school supplies, the following events will also be taking place:

• The Harris County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a free Car Seat Inspection for those who would like to make sure their car seats are safe. They will also be handing out Child Safety Information.
• The Community Volunteer Fire Department will have a Fire Truck available for an up-close inspection for the young and old.
