The 5th Annual Plant Swap sponsored by the Greater Mission Bend Area Council was a huge success!
The weather was perfect, it was fun to see old friends and meet new ones. Plants and plant related items were traded and most people went home with more plants than they brought.
Honor Students from Alief Kerr High School helped load and unload plants to and from cars for the 5th year!
Christian Brothers Automotive, Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, Old Hickory BBQ, Zone 9 Tropicals and GMBAC donated door prizes. An attendee even donated Sugarland Skeeters Tickets!
All Swappers recieved Free Seedlings donated by GMBAC.
The Greater Mission Bend Area Council would like to thank everyone who participated. Please make plans to attend the 6th Annual Plant Swap that will be held in May 2018.
