Crime Watch

******

Crime is the number one problem facing every subdivision in the entire Houston area and it is going to take a major team effort to make a difference in our community.

Go to www.CrimeReports.com to see actual reported crimes in our area. Do a search for just one month, it is downright scary.

The Greater Mission Bend Area Council is working with both Harris County and Fort Bend County law enforcement to coordinate a “Neighborhood Watch Program” for the entire West Houston area.

Your suggestions and input is welcomed.

A knife-wielding man who demanded car keys from two sisters working in their yard Wednesday morning ran off when one of them confronted him with a pair of hedge shears.

The incident took place around 9 a.m. in the 7900 block of Tomayo Drive in the Mission Bend subdivision.

As We Get Older the Crime Element Gets BOLDER!!!

Everyday on the evening news, the Public is hammered with stories regarding CRIME.

Unfortunately, the reality is, many of the crimes occur to Seniors and Homeowners.

In many cases, in the Greater Mission Bend Area, Homeowners are becoming victims in their own homes.  The time is NOW to stop this spreading problem and it begins with YOU!

The Greater Mission Bend Area Council plans to co-sponsor a proven program to stave off this criminal element in each of our neighborhoods: but this will require each Homeowners Association’s participation.

The GMBAC will soon be sending out more details concerning the NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM for our communities.

We need to be PROACTIVE not REACTIVE to CRIME and do it NOW!!!!

Your respective HOA’s will share more about this Program soon.

Stay Tuned and ALERT!
